MEXICAN BURGER PUFFS 
1 loaf frozen bread dough
Oil
3/4 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion
1 pkg. taco mix
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Thaw bread as directed on package. Heat 2-3 inches of oil at 375 degrees. Brown hamburger; drain. Add taco mix and cheese; cool. Divide dough into 8 pieces; make into 5-inch circle. Add meat mixture; fold in half to enclose filling. Seal edges. Put 2 in at a time in oil, fry until deep brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
