FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 lb. pitted prunes
Dried apricots
1 can chunk pineapple, drained (if unsweetened, sprinkle with sweetener)
1 can cherry pie filling

Spread prunes in baking dish. Sprinkle a layer of dried apricots. Then a layer of pineapple. Then pie filling. Pour pineapple juice on top and sprinkle with sweetener. Cover with foil. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. Serve warm. In lieu of dried apricots, may use packet of mixed dried fruits.
