CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE 
1 box fudge cake mix with pudding recipe
20 oz. can cherry pie filling
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

Combine all ingredients and pour into a 13 x 9 inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Make frosting (recipe follows) and pour over cake while it is still warm.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate chips, semi - sweet

In a small sauce pan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Pour over cake immediately. Cool completely before cutting into small squares. Note: Do not follow cake mix directions.
