PINEAPPLE SHEET CAKE 
CAKE:

2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
) can unsweetened, crushed pineapple

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. canned condensed milk
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. shredded coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all of the cake ingredients together. Pour mixture onto greased cookie pan (10"x15" or larger). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Approximately 5 minutes before the cake has completed baking, mix together 1 stick butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 cup canned condensed milk. Boil this mixture for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup walnuts, 1 cup shredded coconut and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour this mixture over the cake while hot from oven.

NOTE: To adapt this recipe for a 1/2 sheet cake pan, which I prefer, increase all ingredients by 50%.
