SPANISH BEEF AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 (15 oz.) can Spanish rice 1/4 c. chopped jalapenos 2 tbsp. butter 1 med. onion, chopped 1 lb. ground beef, browned 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 2 tbsp. chili powder Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute onions in butter; season with salt and paprika. Place in a greased baking dish 1/3 of the meat, onion mixture, and cheese. Pour 1/3 of the rice and tomato sauce mixed together over it. Repeat this process until all the ingredients are gone. Cover the dish and cook about 30 minutes. |
