GRANDMA PIPER'S OLD-FASHIONED PECAN PIE | |
1 raw pie crust 3 eggs, well beaten 1 c. dark Karo syrup 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. vinegar 3/4 c. chopped pecans 1/4 c. shortening Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs, mix well. Add remainder of ingredients. Pour into raw pie crust and bake in 400 degree oven for approximately 40 minutes or until set. |
