1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 sm. bag Hershey's Kisses

Cream peanut butter and shortening together. Add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Add beaten egg. Sift flour and soda together, mix well. Drop mixture by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Press down with tines of fork dipped in sugar. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. When you take cookies out of oven, put 1 Hershey Kiss on each one and partly cool before taking them up.
