ONE STEP CHILI FOR MICROWAVE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes and juice
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)

Microwave crumbled ground beef in 2 quart casserole on high for 5 minutes. Stir once to break meat into pieces; drain. Add remaining ingredients; cover and microwave on high for 20 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes until done. 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
