CHOCOLATE - DIP COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. instant coffee
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter
3/4.c sugar
1 egg
4 sq. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted
3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts or pecans

Mix flour with salt and baking powder. Dissolve instant coffee in the vanilla. Cream butter. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and coffee mixture and beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition.

Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
