CHOCOLATE - DIP COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. instant coffee
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
3/4 c. walnuts or pecans, finely chopped
4 oz. white chocolate

Mix flour with salt; add baking powder. Dissolve instant coffee in the vanilla. Cream butter. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and coffee mixture and beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Dip half of each cookie in melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. Or dipping in chocolate, drizzle with melted white chocolate. Yields 4 dozen.
