FIRE AND ICE SALAD 
2 lg. onions, cut into 1/4 inch strips (purple onion looks pretty)
6 lg. firm tomatoes
1 bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tbsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cracked pepper

Place onions, tomatoes and bell pepper in bowl. In a saucepan, bring to boil all other ingredients. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over vegetables and chill. Great with charcoaled steak!
