CREAM CHEESE BRAIDS 
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream, scalded
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt

Combine scalded sour cream, sugar, butter and salt; mix well and cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water in large mixing bowl; stir in sour cream mixture and add the eggs. Gradually stir in flour (dough will be sticky). Cover tightly with Saran Wrap and chill overnight.

FILLING:

2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients in food processor or electric mixer until blended. Yield: 2 cups.

GLAZE:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla or lemon

Combine all ingredients; mixing well. Yield: 1 cup.

Yield: Four 12 inch loaves.
