ORANGE TEA BRAIDS 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
3/4 c. milk

Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs. Blend in orange rind and milk, only until flour is dampened. Turn dough onto lightly floured board. Knead for about half a minute or until dough is elastic. Roll dough in 9"x14" rectangle. Cut into 1/2" strips. Braid 3 strips together. Cut into 2 1/2" lengths. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Glaze while still warm. Make about 30 braids.

GLAZE:

1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. orange juice

Blend sugar and butter together. Gradually add orange juice, stirring until smooth.
