GRANDMOTHER'S KONA BANANA BREAD | |
1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 3/4 c. mashed ripe bananas 1 1/4 c. sifted cake flour 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Cream shortening and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Stir in bananas. Sift dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture and beat until well blended. Pour into greased 9 inch square pan or loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or longer for loaf pan. |
