3 c. thick applesauce
2 c. sugar
1 c. soft butter

Combine: 1/2 lb. raisins 1/4 lb. candied cherries 1 lb. mixed candied fruits 1 lb. chopped dates

Sift together: 4 tsp. baking soda 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. salt

Blend dry ingredients with fruits and nuts. Now blend all ingredients together.

Line glass baking dish with lightweight brown paper, greased. Fill pans 3/4 full. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours.

NOTE: Use glass because of fruits.
