DIRT CAKE 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 1/2 c. milk
2 (3.5 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
12 oz. frozen whipped topping, partially thawed
1 (20 oz.) pkg. Nabisco chocolate wafers, crushed fine (2.5 c.)
1 (6 inch) flower pot

In medium bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. In a second medium bowl, mix milk and pudding. Fold in whipped topping. Combine the two mixtures. Cover the bottom of each flower pot with a plastic lid, a piece of foil, or a piece of plastic wrap.

Start layering the cookie crumbs and the cream mixture, making several layers, ending with the cookie crumbs to look like dirt. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours.

Before placing on the table as a centerpiece, "plant" the flowers. Gummy worms may be laid on the "dirt, " if desired. To serve, use a clean garden trowel or spoon and remove the flowers.
