1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 Heath candy bars, crushed

Cream shortening and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients in order given. Crush candy bars in wrapping until they are in coarse chunks. Shape dough into rolls. Chill until firm. Slice and bake at 350 degrees.
