JELLO ICE CREAM CAKE 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jello
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jello
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
4 pt. vanilla ice cream
1 lg. carton sour cream

Dissolve 1 package Jello in 3/4 cup boiling water. Pour hot Jello over 1 pint of softened ice cream. Stir until blended. Pour into springform pan. When set, spread a thin layer of sour cream as frosting between the layers (drop small amounts of sour cream by teaspoon, it is difficult to spread). Use almost all of one large carton of sour cream.

Repeat the layers. Frost with 1 large carton of Cool Whip. Use crushed vanilla wafers with a tiny bit of melted butter as a base in the pan.
