1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast (or equivalent)
1/4 cup lukewarm water
1 egg
3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour, divided

Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt in bowl. Cool to lukewarm; Combine yeast with water and stir. Add egg and 1/2 cup flour to milk mixture and beat until smooth. Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise until double.

6 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup (Karo)

Combine melted butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in 13x9x2-inch pan.

Cut roll into 1-inch slices. Arrange slices in pan (on their sides). Cover and let rise until double.

Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.

Thanks dude! This was a great recipe and I really enjoyed it!:) YUMMMMMMMY!! Also, I made my own icing. It was made of powdered sugar, a weee bit of orange juice, and a tiny, tiny, tiny little bit of cornstarch so it can can harden on the top. Just like you see in the stores. :) LOVE THIS!!!!
