CHEESE CUPCAKES 
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat cream cheese and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add vanilla. Pour in paper cups, about 3/4 full. Set in muffin tins. Bake cupcakes at 300 degrees for 40 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Cherries (optional)

Mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Spoon 1 tablespoon topping on center of each cupcake. Place a dab of your favorite preserves on top. Return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes. Cool. Garnish with 1/2 of cherry.
