CHOCOLATE CUSTARD | |
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate 1 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. cream, whipped 1. Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler. Stir in milk and heat. 2. Add sugar, flour and salt and cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Stir in egg yolk and cook for 2 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Cool. 4. When cool, fold in whipped cream. Chill. Serves 4. |
