1 c. apples
1 c. blackberries
1 c. peaches
1 1/2 c. raisins
3 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. cocoa
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
4 1/2 tbsp. butter

Add nuts as desired (walnuts are great, especially placed on top as decorations).

Mix all ingredients together and bake at 325 degree oven. A 10 inch tube pan is great for this cake. However, for gifts and giving to friends, a loaf pan will work.

A butter frosting or cream cheese (follows) icing is great.

CREAM CHEESE ICING:

1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, if desired
Cake coloring, if desired
