3 c. self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can beer (not light), room temp.
2 tbsp. butter

Stir together flour, sugar and beer. Place in loaf pan. Bake in 375 degree oven for 50 minutes. Spread with butter and bake additional 10 minutes.
