LENTILS ITALIAN 
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oil
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 tbsp. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. oregano
6 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1 c. cooked macaroni
1 pkg. lentils

Saute onion and garlic. Add tomatoes, sauce, basil and oregano. Simmer 20 minutes. Cook lentils in water and salt 15 minutes. Combine lentils with sauce mixture. Simmer 15 minutes. Add macaroni, stir. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
