BAKED ITALIAN MACARONI 
1 lg. pot
Homemade sauce
2 boxes rigatoni
2 (12 oz.) bags Mozzarella cheese (the cheesier the better)

Cook rigatoni until tender; drain. Empty into large casserole dish. Cover with homemade spaghetti sauce. Put cheese on the top. Bake at 500 degrees until cheese is melted. I like it to be brown on top. Serve with garlic bread and salad.

My grand parents came from Italy. My mother use to make baked macaroni almost like you make. The best part was the top like you said. She also put meatballs and a hard-boiled egg, all mixed together. The last layer is sauce. Be careful, SAUCE BURNS!! You have to watch it broil.
