CHEESE STRAWS 
1 lb. New York state sharp cheese
1 lb. butter
4 c. plain flour
Dash ground red pepper

Let cheese and butter soften. (Cheese may be grated for easier mixing.) Add flour, cheese and butter and mix like dough. Add pepper to taste. Put through a cookie press or shape into small balls 1/2 inch in diameter. Bake for 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
