CROCK-POT CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS | |
I want you to know, when I first heard of this recipe, I thought... What? that long? But trust me. I tried it and have several times. My whole family ATE it all up. This recipe is honestly the CLOSEST thing to home made dumplings that my mother used to make for her 10 children. I promise you, you will enjoy them!! 3 boneless chicken breasts 2 (10 oz. ea.) cans cream of chicken soup water (enough to cover top) 1 medium onion, chopped (optional} salt and pepper, to taste DUMPLINGS: 2 1/4 cups Bisquick baking mix 2/3 cup milk Place chicken, soup and water, chopped onion (if desired), salt and pepper in Crock-Pot. Cook on high for 8 to 12 hours OR on low for 24 hours. 1 hour before this time, make dumplings by mixing Bisquick and milk in a bowl. Slowly add in your dumplings, one at a time. After 1 hour, Enjoy!! Submitted by: Judy |
