SAVORY ROAST POTATOES 
3 1/2 lbs. med. sized red potatoes, each cut in half
1 med. sized onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. olive or salad oil
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dried rosemary leaves, crushed or chives
1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Use 17x12 inch roasting pan. Place potatoes cut side up and coat with ingredients.

Add 1 cup of water to pan and cover.

Optional: Cover potatoes with strips of bacon.

Roast potatoes for 40 to 45 minutes.
