Olive oil Garlic clove 1/2 sm. can tomato paste 1/2 pt. cream 1 tbsp. basil and or oregano 1 tsp. parsley 1/2 tsp. nutmeg A little cayenne pepper 1/4 to 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 pkg. cooked fresh tortellini Saute garlic in olive oil; add tomato paste and slightly warm. Whisk in cream until mixture is smooth along with all other ingredients. Serve over tortellini. Variations: Add 1/2 package thawed frozen peas or crumbled bacon or whatever. Good for after practice because it is easy and quick. |
