PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
6 to 8 pork chops
1 c. uncooked rice
1 pkg. Lipton's onion soup mix (1 envelope)

Brown chops very fast in small amount of Crisco, drain well on paper towel, salt chops. Pour rice in oblong Pyrex dish. Sprinkle onion soup mix over rice. Add 3 cups hot water. Place chops on top of the rice. Wrap in heavy foil. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until pork chops are tender.
