LASAGNA 
1 c. diced onions
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp. oil
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
4 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
2 tsp. minced parsley
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. lasagna noodles
1 1/2 lbs. Mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 lb. Cheddar cheese
Basil to taste

Saute onions and garlic in 1 tablespoon oil. Add meat and cook. Add tomato sauce, oregano, basil, parsley, salt and pepper and simmer 15 minutes. Meanwhile, put 4 quarts water in large pot with salt and 1 tablespoon oil, bring to boil and add lasagna noodles. Cook until tender, 10-12 minutes. Drain noodles. In large casserole dish, layer noodles, sauce and cheese. Make 2 layers. Bake for 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. Makes 2 dishes of lasagna.
