MRS. D'S DELIGHT 
1 tbsp. butter
2 lbs. ground beef
2 cans tomato sauce
2 tbsp. fresh garlic
1 tsp. sugar
8 oz. pkg. egg noodles
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 (3 oz.) cream cheese
Season to your taste
2 tbsp. chives
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 lb. mild Cheddar cheese

Melt butter in a large saucepan. Brown ground beef and garlic. Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook 20 minutes. Cook noodles by package directions.

Combine sour cream, cream cheese and chives. In a casserole dish alternate layers of meat then noodles and cheese. Top it with a heavy cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly. You also can add mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, celery to make the taste come alive.
