2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. quick oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Place sugar, milk, butter, cocoa and salt in 3 quart saucepan and bring to boil. Boil one minute. Remove from stove and quickly add oatmeal, peanut butter, nuts. and vanilla. Drop by spoonful on waxed paper. Chill until firm.
