M.'S MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
1 (16 oz.) box macaroni 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese (preferable Cracker Barrel brand) 1 qt. milk (evaporated) 1/4 lb. butter, melted 3 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. sugar Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with tap water and then combine with milk, eggs, butter and sugar. Layer macaroni and cheese mixture in a casserole dish, reserving some of the cheese for topping. Sprinkle with paprika before the final topping of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. They always add a little yellow food coloring to the macaroni water for eye appeal. |
