JAPANESE CHICKEN WINGS 
2 lb. chicken wings
1 beaten egg
flour
oil
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt

Cut off pointed end of wings. Dip in egg and flour and brown in oil. In saucepan, simmer next 5 ingredients for 2 minutes. Put browned wings in glass baking dish and pour sauce over wings.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Spooning sauce over wings while they bake. Best when baked long enough where sauce turns thick.
