CINNAMON COFFEE CAKE 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk

Combine flour, sugars, butter and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Mix as for a pie crust. Reserve 3/4 cup of this mixture for topping.

To the remaining mixture add salt, baking soda, vanilla and beaten egg. Add buttermilk and blend ingredients until smooth, do not over beat. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan or spring form pan. Lightly sprinkle reserved topping over top. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before removing from the pan.
