MOTHER'S APPLE BUTTER ROLY POLY 
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 stick butter
Enough flour to make a stiff dough, to roll

Roll out about 1/2 inch thick or a little thicker than a pie crust. Spread apple butter on dough. Roll up like a jelly roll. Pinch outer edges together. Place in a cloth bag. Cook for 25 minutes in boiling water. Cool. Slice and add dressing.

DRESSING:

1 c. cream
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix well. Cook until thick. Pour over sliced Roly Poly.
