1 (3 oz.) box Jello (any flavor)
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 box yellow or white cake mix

Bake cake as directed on box. While still warm, poke holes in cake. Pour dissolved Jello over cake. Refrigerate. Top with Cool Whip.
