ROYAL SWEDISH MEATBALLS | |
2 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. mashed potatoes 1 c. dry bread crumbs 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 c. milk 2 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. allspice 1 pint cream Combine all ingredients except cream; mix well. Form into small balls. Dip in flour, brown lightly; Put in baking dish, pour cream over all. Bake at 325°F until done. May be fried in pan instead of baking or cooked in slow-cooker on low for 4-6 hours. Submitted by: Jen Lewis |
