SWEDISH MEATBALLS | |
1/2 c. bread crumbs 1 c. milk 2 lb. ground beef 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1/4 c. onion, grated 3 tbsp. parsley, chopped 1 tbsp. salt 1 clove garlic 1/4 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1 c. beef broth Soak bread crumbs in milk. Mix well with meat, eggs, onion, parsley and seasonings. Shape into small balls and brown on all sides in a small amount of oil. Pour beef broth over meat balls, cover and simmer gently for 15 minutes or until meat is done. Keep warm in chafing dish while serving. Makes about 3 dozen meat balls.
