PICKLE RELISH 
30 cucumbers
10 onions
6 peppers
1 c. pickling salt
10 c. sugar
6 c. vinegar
3 tsp. salt
3 tsp. turmeric
3 tsp. celery seed
3 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. alum

1. Grind cucumbers, onion and peppers. Put in cloth bag, such as an old pillowcase. Sprinkle with 1 cup pickling salt. Hang up overnight to dry.

2. Heat remaining ingredients to boil. Drain cucumber mixture, then add to sugar mixture. Simmer, put in canning jars and process.
