1 c. butter or shortening
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. nut meats
1 c. grated coconut
1 c. candied fruit
6 egg whites

Cream butter or shortening; add alternately 1 cup milk with 3 cups flour which has been sifted with 3 level teaspoons baking powder and salt. Add nut meats, coconut and candied fruits. Beat 6 egg whites to a stiff peak and fold in last. Bake 1 hour in 315 degree oven.
