2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and butter well. Add eggs, beat adding flour and vanilla; cream well. Batter will be thick.

On a greased 15 x 10 inch cooking sheet, place 3/4 of the batter covering pan. Using 1 full can of pie filling or 1/2 can of apple and 1/2 can cherry filling dot here and there. Place remaining batter between fruit to be attractive. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until golden.
