PUMPKIN DESSERT 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick softened butter
1 egg
1 lg. can pumpkin
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, 1 stick butter, and 1 egg. Reserve 1 cup of this mixture. Pat the remaining mixture into a 9x13 inch greased pan.

Combine pumpkin, 3 eggs, white and brown sugar, evaporated milk, and spices. Mix well. Pour over cake mixture. Using the 1 cup reserved cake mixture, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 stick butter, and chopped nuts. Mix well and crumble over pumpkin layer.

Bake for 50-60 minutes until knife comes out almost clean. Cool, add 12-16 oz. Cool Whip before serving. Needs to be refrigerated.
