CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
2 or 3 lb. chicken
2 chicken bouillon cubes
Enough water to boil the chicken in
Salt and pepper to taste

DUMPLINGS:

3 c. of flour
1/4 of a cup of shortening
1 c. of milk

Add chicken to water boil 30 minutes or until chicken easily pulled off bone. Remove chicken from water saving water. Remove skin from chicken and discard skin. Remove meat from bone and place meat back in water. Bring water to a hard boil. In mixing bowl combine ingredients for dumplings.
