1 pkg. yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. boiling water
1 egg, beaten

Mix boiling water, butter, oil and salt; cool. Mix yeast, 1/2 cup warm water, sugar; add to other mixture with egg and 2 cups flour. Beat with mixture. Add more flour to make stiff batter. Knead on floured board until smooth. Let rise 1-1 1/2 hours.

For Cinnamon Rolls: Work down; roll out thin. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, melted butter and nuts if desired.
