MERINGUE COOKIES 
2 egg whites
1/4 tbsp. cream of tartar
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line oven rack with foil. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. SLOWLY add sugar. Add vanilla. Fold in chips.

Drop by teaspoon on foil. Place rack in oven and turn oven off. Let stand in oven until cool.

Great overnight idea for make ahead gourmet dessert. Great for kids to make, too!
