ONE DISH SUPPER 
1 lb. bacon
6 potatoes, quartered
4 c. water
6-8 pieces chicken
6 carrots, sliced

Fry bacon, reserve grease. Brown chicken in bacon grease. Place chicken on bottom of 2 quart casserole. Crumble bacon on top of chicken. Place quartered potatoes, then carrots. Pour 4 cups water over all. Place cover on dish. Bake at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
