BUTTERMILK COFFEE CAKE 
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix together and add 1 cup buttermilk, 1 cup salad oil, 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until smooth. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour half of batter into pan, sprinkle with half of topping. Put remaining batter in pan. Top with remaining topping. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. While hot drizzle with a thin icing.

TOPPING:

1 tbsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
