MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE | |
3 c. sugar 1 lb. butter, softened 6 lg. eggs, room temp. 4 c. cake flour 3/4 c. milk 1 tsp. almond extract 1 tsp. vanilla extract Combine sugar and butter. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, bating well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture, alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in flavorings. Pour batter into a well greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes. |
